At first we thought it was really smoggy...turned out to be very windy and dusty!
As we got nearer to LA Mom had to sit on her hands! She said she's driven these interstates many a time, but in a big Motorcoach a little scary!
Our Pechanga RV resort was very nice, lots of families with their RVs decorated for the 4th, the temperature was in the low 89's and the Resort included a huge complex with a hotel and Casino where Mom and Dad spent only 20 min and $6...too smokey and loud they said! This pic is from the hotel...
They went downtown to old town Temecula and had the best pizza ever at the Goat and the Vine restaurant!
The next day Mom and Dad went to several wineries, they didn't buy anything yet, so I'm not sure about the taste. Mom said 6 tastings cost $20 each with nothing applied to any purchase. She said that was outrageous compared to Michigan, Finger Lakes, and Virginia. She said the wineries were beautiful...
This is the winery where they ate lunch...
Mom and Dad loved the misters and wished HHI restaurants had them!
They came home to find me snoozing, Mom do you have to take my pic?
This morning Mom, Dad, and I went looking for a park to go for a walk. Their are lots of them in the area. The first one we stopped at, Temecula Creek Park was nice, but our walk was short.Dad and I thought it was good enough, but Mom said we needed to try another park. This next one was Vail Ranch Park and had a nice paved trail!
After a nice walk I was tuckered so we came home and Mom and Dad got ready for more winery tours!
I'll let Mom take it from here...We added a lovely cheese plate to compliment the wines!
We came home for a relaxing afternoon sitting outside reading and watching Finny watch the World go by!
This evening we went to another winery for dinner, Pointe Inn and Winery, a beautiful property!
We had dessert of Cherry Compost and I had coffee...never had rock sugar brought with coffee!
The view over the vineyards was lovely...
Such a nice, special evening!
Since we are club members, back to Thornton Winery for brunch...good thing we don't live here, daily free wine flights! Awesome brunch too!
There were horses...
And history...
