The path was very pretty!
We had to go across lots of boardwalks to get there, but I didn't miss a step! When we got to the Cape it was beautiful!
Of course I had to try any bench out!
We saw Cormorants chilling...
And I'll have to ask my Aunt Kathy...is this a Puffin?
And you could hear the Sea Lions in the Caves...and then we saw them!
Of course pictures all around at the most NW point of the Continental U.S.!
On our way back...boy did I have fun...thank you Auntie Garnett for suggesting!!
The next morning, Sunday, we moved to Port Angeles. We visited Port Townsend, an old Victorian town where deer just hung out right in town! Our first morning Mom and Dad went up to Hurricane Ridge in ONP. On the way as they climbed the mountain and the road switched back and forth they went in and out of fog...
And saw a bit of wildlife!
And they reached the top where it was 45 degrees!
After they purchased warmer jackets, off they went hiking where they battled fog and clouds for views of Washington and Canadian mountains...
After a hike up to the top, it was fogged in!
It seemed like it was clearing so they took another hike...
But...
When they got home we all went for a hike to the old Elwa Dam overlook
The next day Mom and Dad left me home, 😨, Mom will have to tell you about the day!
First we stopped at Lake Crescent, a part of the ONP, this lake is huge, 8mi long, 300ft deep.
Then we went to another section of ONP, Sol Duc where hot springs are located and a beautiful waterfall. Our first stop was the Salmon Cascades where at one time salmon were pushed down the rushing River from the waterfall.
Next we hiked to the Sol Duc Falls, a beautiful hike through lush forest...
When we got home we took Finn on another hike, this time to the old Dam site which has been removed and now the Salmon are back in just three years!

Nice waterfall pictures. Looks like you guys had a good time.
