Friday night Mom booked us in a $20 a night full hookup spot in Seminole, OK. Now Mom's always saying, "you get what you pay for"...it was pretty darn bad. Turned out it was full of dirty, rough looking Oil workers and it had rained a lot so the whole place was a mud pit...now Dad's half full cup favorite saying is..."it's only one night!" Dad was just glad Mom booked the spot so she couldn't fuss at him. Things didn't get much better for me...I lost two teeth that night and evidently the doggie tooth fairy couldn't find me in the middle of nowhere. Mom saved my teeth...see😋. Mom put me to bed early, since I was feeling so lousy.
Saturday was a new day, the sun was shining and off we went to Amarillo, Tx. We arrived at a very nice new campground with long pull throughs and a nice dog area for me with lots of grass, yay!! I'm thinking the picnic table might be for me too...
We decided to go sightseeing so off I went in my car crate...Mom and Dad know I love my crates!
Our first stop was Route 66. Mom said it was in a seedy area, I have no idea what that means but we didn't stay long.
Next we hit the World famous Cadillac Ranch. As we went in some man said, "I'd be afraid to take that white dog in there," but he was laughing...we figured out why. The thing is everybody brings cans of spray pain and paint the buried cars...humans are just weird!
We topped off the afternoon going by the coolest motel...well cool to me...it's the closest I've ever seen to a doggy hotel!
When we got back to the Oasis RV Resort we all understood the entrance better since it's near the Cadillac Ranch...
Mom and Dad played with me in the dog park and then off they went for a nice steak dinner...guess it was just for grown ups. We finished the night with a great sunset. Tomorrow we head to Albuquerque!

The great thing about being that far out west is the traffic gets thin. And the sky gets pretty blue. You guys are definitely moving along.
