Williams, AZ, the Wild West

While visiting the Grand Canyon, we've been staying at Williams, AZ. It's a small town wrapped around the Grand Canyon Railroad and tourism...particularly Indian and Western shops and Route 66 Memorabila!

Lots of Route 66 Memorabila...

And lots of nick knack shops

Included were some great restaurants such as the Red Raven where we had an excellent lunch and dinner

And then there was the old west...

Including a nightly Wild West Shootout to bring tourists downtown

There was also beautiful Indian pottery, we had to buy a piece!  The last day was especially neat because we had lunch at a great restaurant and the musician, who sounded fabulous, asked us where we were from and he was blown away...he was from Williamsburg too!

We've really enjoyed staying here, the weather has been fabulous, highs in the low 70's and lows were in the low 40's! Good sleeping weather...

Tomorrow we head to Page, AZ...it's going to be 106-110 deg but we are excited to finally meet up with Sharon and Bobby Lowman...I think we just might be making some margaritas!
